Exploring the relationship of trauma, mental health and substance use and grounding ourselves in safety to cope with challenges.

Mindful Moments – Closed In-House Group

Tuesdays | 2PM – 3PM | Rose Harbour

Drop-In – CHILDMINDING IS AVAILABLE.

Take some time for yourself to relax and ground a space where nothing is required of you, stay for 10 minutes or a couple hours. Short, guided meditation followed by 10 minutes of quiet time. You can choose to stay to connect, socialize and snack afterwards.

Women’s Empowerment Group – Open Public Group

This is an open group which supports individuals who have chosen to abstain or are considering abstinence from any type of addictive behavior, (substances or activities), by teaching how to change self-defeating thinking, emotions, and actions; and to work towards long-term satisfactions and quality of life.

ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORTIVE COUNSELLING

Community Outreach Services

Campbell River and North Island Transition Society now offers one-on-one counselling sessions for women in the Campbell River area who are experiencing or have experienced difficulties in relationships, or for women dealing with addiction issues in recovery.

What to expect from one-on-one supportive counselling:

  • Confidentiality, respect, acceptance, and understanding

  • Information, support, counselling and referrals

  • Short-term supportive counselling for relationship issues or recovery from addiction
