Healthy Healing is a support group for women to connect with other women in a safe and welcoming space. The goal is to provide healthy coping strategies, raise awareness, alleviate isolation, share information, and strive for a life free from abuse.

This is an open group which supports individuals who have chosen to abstain or are considering abstinence from any type of addictive behavior, (substances or activities), by teaching how to change self-defeating thinking, emotions, and actions; and to work towards long-term satisfactions and quality of life.

ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORTIVE COUNSELLING

Community Outreach Services

Campbell River and North Island Transition Society now offers one-on-one counselling sessions for women in the Campbell River area who are experiencing or have experienced difficulties in relationships, or for women dealing with addiction issues in recovery.

What to expect from one-on-one supportive counselling:

  • Confidentiality, respect, acceptance, and understanding

  • Information, support, counselling and referrals

  • Short-term supportive counselling for relationship issues or recovery from addiction
