CAMPBELL RIVER WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTRE
ABOUT THE CAMPBELL RIVER WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTRE
In 1985 the Campbell River Women’s Resource Centre gave birth to the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society (CRNITS). The Ann Elmore Transition House opened in 1987. Now, in 2019 the Women’s Centre has become our most esteemed elder, and the Transition Society will take over their work.
April 1, 2019 CRNITS took over the administration of the Women’s Centre programs including the drop-in centre, crisis/support counselling, and poverty reduction. We are not taking on the Discovery Pier concession or the Senior Peer Counselling program. We anticipate the drop-in centre programming will remain the same for the near future.
