Resident Interview with United Way

Rose Harbour: Women's Change Program and Transitional Housing

Everyone in every community has the opportunity to reach their full potential. United Way’s mission is to empower everyone and to improve lives and build strong communities. Rose Harbour is a United Way funded program that is made possible because of your donations. People who need help find the right support when and where they need it. People who want to help find simple yet powerful ways to create impact in their local community. Through inspiring opportunities, United Way empowers people to make lasting social change. United Way exists locally to serve Central and Northern Vancouver Island’s most vulnerable and create inclusive communities where every person benefits. Donate today and make a local difference!

BUILDING ROSE HARBOUR

A dream that began 20 years ago is being realized. You all may recognize the home that sat on the lot prior to Rose Harbour. Volunteers salvaged as much as possible for Habitat for Humanity's local ReStore. You will notice that donations were pouring in even while work was being completed. Thank you to everyone who made this dream a reality.
