Managing the Pandemic at Ann Elmore House:
Ann Elmore house is a short-term shelter for women (and their dependent children) who are at risk of violence or abuse. As a communal living facility, we have put in place special rules and protocols to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 clients and staff.

What you can expect at Ann Elmore House:
Health screening before intake
If you have flu-type symptoms, you are required to quarantine and get a COVID-19 test

The Women's Centre will contnue to be open from 10AM-3PM Monday through Friday.
Public showers at Rose Harbour are available, please check in with reception as to availability.

Here's what you need to know about donating to the Transitions Thrift Store:
Due to space constraints, we are limiting the days and times we can accept donations to Fridays and Saturdays
During those times we will accept good quality, clean items. Small furniture (please check with us for larger items), clothing, household items, kitchen items, linens, tools, electronics and sporting equipment.
We DO NOT take car seats or larch items such as windows, doors, carpeting, etc.
Donations will be received on a first-come-first-serve basis and may need to be restricted once our receiving area is at capacity.
